Outstanding Pueblo and Navajo and Hopi art from the Tribes in New Mexico and Arizona is bought and sold in Penfield Gallery of Indian Arts. The art is traditional and handmade and high quality by some of the best Zuni Fetish Carvers, Pueblo Potters, Navajo and Hopi Potters, Navajo Sandpainters, Navajo Rug Weavers, Navajo Painters and Navajo and Pueblo Crafts artists in the Southwest for 50 years now in Old Town Albuquerque New Mexico. Penfield Gallery is run and organized by the same family, the Penfield Family, who were historic in Lincoln County in buying and operating the historic Tunstall Store, Post Office and Museum and ooperating it until 1959 in Lincoln New Mexico. Penfield Gallery in Albuquerque New Mexico has been operating since 1975 displaying and selling some of the finest and most outstanding native art in the Southwest.
About the History of Penfield

The Penfield Company began in the 1880's as a general mercantile company
in Lincoln County, NM,
the home of Billy the Kid. The store served as a trade center with
people coming from all parts of the
state to trade in everything from farm supplies to Indian rugs.
The original store has since been made into a state museum.
The John
M. Penfield mentioned in the sign shown above is the grandfather of
the current owner.
